Here is how to be in the audience of a tv show

I recently was in NYC and got in the audience of some of the live tv shows. Many years ago when I was in town for The Big East I was able to be in the audience for The Late Show with David Letterman. It was just chance that I got the tickets. I was walking in Times Square and they were signing up people for the next day’s show. It was a pretty easy process, just show up and stand in line and they sit you in the theater. It was a different time. No real heavy security. I remember the studio was freezing, to keep everyone awake and the clock showed 11;35 pm , just like it was at night. The taping was at 4 pm in the afternoon.

Now is 2024 it is a whole different thing. You can only get the tickets on line. The website is 1iota.com. They have all to availability of both the West Coast and East Coast programs.
